Through The Dark Sky Association, Lost Creek promotes sensitive outdoor lighting in an effort to preserve our environment from unnecessary light at night, including but not limited to light trespass, glare, and skyglow. Lost Creek was awarded the "Distinguished Development" award in 2015 and was the first neighborhood in Austin, TX to achieve an International Dark Skies award. We encourage you to consider shielded lighting and low glare fixtures when designing your project.
